At EmpoweredEdu., we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality education—regardless of financial circumstances.
Through MPower Inc., our nonprofit organization, we're committed to removing barriers to learning by providing scholarships to individuals who are passionate about supporting others through grief and loss.
Whether you're a counsellor, therapist, healthcare provider, educator, caregiver, student, or someone called to this work, we want education to be within reach. Because when one person becomes better equipped to support loss, entire communities benefit.
The EmpoweredEdu. Access Scholarship
Each year, five scholarships are awarded to individuals who demonstrate both financial need and a commitment to using their education to create meaningful impact.
Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed monthly. Successful applicants receive complimentary enrollment in an eligible EmpoweredEdu. educational program.

Scholarship Criteria
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
✔ Demonstrate financial need or identify barriers that prevent participation in training.
✔ Have a genuine interest in advancing their knowledge of grief, loss, and compassionate care.
✔ Show a commitment to applying what they learn to support others within their profession, organization, or community.
Selection Process
Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis. We consider each application thoughtfully, evaluating financial need, demonstrated commitment, and the potential impact the scholarship may have within the applicant's community. Because scholarship funding is limited, submitting an application does not guarantee selection.
Applicants will be notified directly if they are awarded a scholarship.
